I wrote some code for Vicious Cycles that tracked how players played the game. These statistics do not take into account that some may play more than once.

Some spoilers ahead.

Vicious Cycles starring Jake Gyllenhaal

by Bloomengine on Tuesday, May 3, 2011

I made a game 10 years ago. You can play the hypertext remix of it here.

This the plot of my game a movie called Source Code (2011) starring Jake Gyllenhaal:

When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) the player wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the "Source Code," a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life...

Colter The player re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.

This is a remix of an older game I wrote 10 years ago, using inform. It's a piece of interactive fiction that will run in your browser.

There is a bomb that was never meant to explode. It changed history. You must relive the same few moments over and over again, peeling back layers of information each time until you can disarm the bomb.
